Report on the CEEPUS (SI-1312 network) short summer school (July 18th – July 20th 2023)

DuriIn the frame of the CEEPUS network SI-1312 “Water – a common but anomalous substance that has to be taught and studied” a short summer school was organised in the period between Tuesday, July 18th, and (including) Thursday, July  20th, at the premises of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of University of Ljubljana (UL FKKT), Slovenia. The school was, in addition to student education, well dedicated also to promoting student mobility within the CEEPUS SI-1312 network and to getting to know each other students from different institutions involved in the CEEPUS SI-1312 network. Students who attended the summer school were granted 1 (one) ECTS credit.

 

Participants: The summer school was attended by 14 foreign students who received a CEEPUS scholarship for attending the summer school (all these 14 students came from institutions that are also included in the CEEPUS network SI-1312), and one Slovenian student (with UL FKKT). The summer school was taught by two Slovenian teachers from UL FKKT, help in carrying out the laboratory work (practical test during the lectures of the given material) was provided by UL FKKT staff (including a technical assistant) and a foreign student who was on a one-month CEEPUS research hosting at UL FKKT.
